Deal Card: Octopus Investments
The BDO Birmingham Transaction Services Team recently provided financial due diligence services to Octopus Investments ("Octopus") on their £1.5m investment into Coal Grill and Bar ("Coal"). Coal is a successful casual dining restaurant chain serving freshly prepared char-grilled food. The Octopus investment will be used to finance additional new sites across the UK with the intention of opening a minimum of four new restaurants in each of the next two years.
