Deal Card: K-Tek
Following ABB Group's recent acquisition of Jokab Safety Group (Sweden), BDO has once again provided acquisition due diligence and valuation services to ABB, this time in respect of ABB Inc's acquisition of K-Tek Corporation. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, ABB is a multi-national engineering group. K-Tek Corporation is a Louisiana, USA-based manufacturer of fluid control and level monitoring devices for industrial customers. The services provided by BDO required co-ordination of dedicated Corporate Finance staff from both the UK and USA, including a team of Transaction Services, Corporate Taxation and Valuation specialists, again demonstrating the global reach and capability of the BDO International network. The acquisition has enabled the ABB Group to expand their portfolio of products, and is a key step for the group in developing a more comprehensive suite of products and technologies.
