Deal Card: Dwell
The BDO Transaction Services Team has recently provided due diligence and tax structuring services to Key Capital Partners on its £5 million investment into Dwell, the retailer of contemporary furniture and home accessories. Originally founded as a mail-order business in 2003 by entrepreneur Aamir Ahmad, the company has grown from a single store in Balham, London, into one of the UK's most fashionable multi-channel furniture retailers, with 19 stores and concessions. The investment will enable a significant expansion in the company's store portfolio.
