Deal Card: BSI
The BDO Birmingham Transaction Services team recently provided due diligence services to British Standards Institution ("BSI") on their investment in Germanischer Lloyd Certification Services ("GLCS"). BSI is a global independent business services organisation that delivers assurance to over 80,000 customers with standards-based solutions. BSI has over 2,300 staff operating in over 120 countries through more than 50 global offices. Previously the UK equipment testing business unit of British Gas, and most recently GL Noble Denton UK, GCLS is the leading certifier of gas related consumer equipment in the UK and one of the top three in Europe with a strong international reputation in Asia Pacific.
