Deal Card: BlueGem investment
Our Mergers & Acquisitions team advised BlueGem Capital Partners LLP on its private investment in public equity (PIPE) investment with Management Consulting Group PLC. In this novel transaction, BlueGem became a strategic investor in a group listed on the UK main market with £17m in a firm placing and £8m of warrants. The investment served to strengthen the balance sheet of MCG and enable the group to announce a new strategic focus of driving organic growth, capitalising on new opportunities provided by economic recovery in core markets and delivering operational improvements.
